We share our plate with the First Unitarian Portland Shower Project. The church has been exploring what service our downtown building might offer for the care of our neighborhood. And through dedicated volunteers and staff, we are proud to say this project is well on its way!

Since 2018, what was formerly the 13 Salmon Family Day Shelter has been largely unused. In consultation with service providers, neighbors living outdoors, and many congregants, we are moving closer to shaping a volunteer program to offer showers and resting stations in our church’s lower level.
