Would you like the opprotunity to engage in spiritual deepening within our UU tradition? Would you like to learn more about yourself, others, and our faith through a 10-month virtual small group experience? Each year, many members of our church participate in this amazing journey. 

If you have been involved with Unitarian Universalism for at least 12 months and you consider the church your spiritual home (you do not need to be a member) and if you have never participated in Wellspring in the past you are invited to join us. Sources Facilitator: First Unitarian Portland’s Intern Minister, Eli Poore

Where and When: Virtual Zoom gatherings start October 19th from 7 – 9 p.m., first and third Wednesdays, through Spring 2023.

How to prepare: Before your first group meeting you will receive an email with ‘retreat’ videos to watch at your own pace. You will also receive a suggested reading list. Finally, on October 8th, Sat. 9:30-10:30 a.m. (ZOOM) you’ll have the opprotunity to virtually meet with your facilitator, Eli Poore, and Rev. Tom Disrud for a brief Q&A.

Cost: We ask for $100 for the 10-month program. This covers costs to the Wellspring organization. However, cost should not be a barrier. You may pay what you are able or full scholarships are available. If you would like a scholarship please email kheintze(at)firstunitarianportland.org

Due to the small group nature of Wellspring, regular attendance is expected. Before registering, please think deeply about your ability to commit for 10-months. Of course, emergencies and unforeseen events happen and your facilitator will do their best to provide accommodations if necessary.
