Dave is a dedicated community leader with a strong background in Unitarian Universalism. He began attending services at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, NJ, in 1993 and became a member in 2008. Hoffman served on the Stewardship Committee for many years, chairing it for four years, and was a member of the Board of Trustees from 2021 until his move to Portland in 2023. He also served on the UUCP Green Burial Board of Directors until mid-2024. In Portland, he is involved with the First Unitarian Church’s Shower Project, Finance Committee, and Souper Sundays. Hoffman enjoys hiking and golf, aligning his community work with his religious values.
