Greetings and Welcome

On Sunday, November 4, the board held it’s fall congregant forum.  About 25 people attended to learn about the board goals for the 2018-19 church year, to meet the current board members, share some food and engage in conversation about our church.  The meetings were held following each church service that day with child care provided to make it convenient to attend. We had a good discussion with the folks in attendance and hope to make this an annual beginning of our church year.  The next board forum will be on February 24th and will focus on budgeting for the next church year. It will be hosted by our Finance Committee.

Celebration Sunday on November 11 marked the end of the public phase of our Annual Fund Drive.  Thank you to everyone who has made their pledge. If you have not yet pledged, please make your commitment to the work of our congregation and support our financial well-being.

Board members have begun reaching out to various church groups and organizations to arrange a time during one of their meetings for a brief discussion of board work and an opportunity for a longer open discussion of their questions and concerns.  If you would like to invite a board member (or two) to one of your church organization’s meetings, please contact us via the board email listed below. We’d love to come and talk with you.
