Parking & Transportation

Unfortunately, as an historic urban church, we do not have on-site parking. Finding a parking space can sometimes be a challenge. Allow yourself extra time to find parking when attending Sunday Worship or pther events. To help alleviate this problem, First Church rents one parking lot for Monday-Thursday evenings and several lots on Sunday. To view the locations and hours of these lots, please click here.

Sunday Parking Options

U-Park: SW 12th between Main and Salmon (directly across from our two sanctuaries). No charge Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

City Center: SW Main between 10th and 11th. No charge Sundays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lawyer's Lot: SW Main between 12th and 13th. No charge Sundays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. NOTE: The Lawyer's Lot is NEVER available weekday evenings.

Monday through Thursday Evenings ONLY

U-Park: SW 12th between Main and Salmon. No charge 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., with PARKING PERMIT (see details below), available to First Church congregants and valid September through June. Permits must be renewed each church program year.

The Parking Permit is available for $20 at the church office and must be displayed on your review mirror in order to utilize this lot on weekday evenings. Not displaying the Permit Tag properly could result in ticketing or towing, at the owner's expense. Tags do not guarantee or reserve a parking space. The lot operates on a "first come, first served" basis.

At no times (other than listed above) may First Church congregants use any of these lots without paying the normal posted rates. The lots may be used for church business only.

(Sunday parking in our lots is free and does not require a parking pass.)
